Amazing food! Amazing service! Couldn’t recommend it anymore! The food was absolutely delicious and so fresh. Had the chef special lamb dish (which was recommended by server) a chicken korma both fantastic. Have been now twice in 5 days WHOOPS! Can’t wait to return again soon.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Bengal, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with beautiful decor that set the perfect mood. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, catering to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. I started with the Prawn Puri , which were perfectly cooked and beautiful flavours. For my main course, I opted for the Honey Chilli Chicken, and it was absolutely divine. The chicken was tender and succulent, and the spicy honey based sauce was rich and aromatic with not too much spice so you could still truly taste the flavours. My father ordered the Bengal 42, which was equally impressive, with tender pieces of lamb, chicken tikka, keema and king prawns. It is safe to say it had everything he wanted and more The service was outstanding. Our server Imran was attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer recommendations. The staff made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our meal. Overall, The Bengal Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!
Absolutely amazingly fantastic. I have lived in Lichfield for over 20 years and was often highly recommended to eat here. Decided to get a takeaway a couple of nights ago and cannot compliment this establishment enough. The food was quite simply the best I have tasted in the UK. Now, I worked in India for 18 months many years ago so my tastebuds were tantalised with real Indian cuisine. Had not been able to find anywhere back in the UK that got close ... until I went here on Monday. Will never go anywhere else ... well done folks ... you have a raving fan Thank you!
Super hospitable staff, they accommodated ten of us for a meal for a friends stag do. Food was fantastic, I went with the tandoori mixed grill on this occasions and all meats were cooked to perfection. Lovely decor, polite staff, what more can you ask for!
I've had a lot of Indian food and this place is definitely up there. I ordered the chicken Jalfrezi - great depth of flavour with a mild punch. My dad had a dish with lamb, which I don't recall the name of, but the meat was tender and juicy. I think lamb dishes are where most Indian restaurants struggle, but this one certainly excels. If you're ever in Lichfield, I highly recommend you try The Bengal. Also, shout out to Mohamed for great service!
Had such a great time here! The food was absolutely amazing—seriously, hats off to the kitchen! On top of that, the staff were so prompt and attentive, making the service spot on from beginning to end. Definitely a five-star experience!
